Aurora is my favorite Disney princess appearance-wise, so she was an easy choice! And while I'm clearly still struggling with colors and backgrounds, I think my lineart skills are improving

Very lovely new submissions!  Argentum-Zeena, that's one of my favourite scenes from Sleeping Beauty. Looks beautiful in pony version, too.

Unicorn_pops, your Pinkie Pie Goldilocks is so cute!  And I just love the expression on Papa Bear's face, lol.

My drawing will be done without a computer program as well.  I haven't the foggiest idea how everyone does it.  Maybe it's something you learn in school now and we missed out because we're too old?  In any event, whether completely drawn-out by hand or created with a computer program, I have really enjoyed seeing all of the entries.  It will be fine.

Wow, these new submissions!!!

First off, I LOVE that scene from Sleeping Beauty and Aurora looks gorgeous as a unicorn I love how you've drawn her curls and bangs (I've always had trouble drawing her bangs lol) and you even added her head band It's so cool that you drew the birds holding the cape out make the owl appear to be a pony instead of holding the arms up to be human-like in the movie. Awesome detail right there!! I Love Aurora's long, lean, and graceful look. She's just how I would picture her as a MLP

Unicorn_pops, you PAINTED that?! I can't paint to save my life For me anyway, computer coloring is easier than a brush and paints It's just something I was never very good at so I really admire your art work! Love, love, love Goldi's expression and pose! The bears are adorable (I'm terrible at drawing animals haha) and Goldi's hair is perfectly curly and gold!

The contest ends on June 30th, but judging may be delayed because my mom is in the hospital. We're not sure how long she'll be in there, but hoping and praying she'll be out soon. She's going to try her best to talk to doctor into letting her go home tomorrow. She hates it there I'm sure she'll be out before the 30th providing her infection doesn't get worse, but I thought I'd give everyone a heads up in case judging is delayed.

I think both traditional drawing and digital drawing each have their own merits I see them as mediums, like how, for example, pastel and watercolor pictures are very different yet beautiful ways of doing art. (Btw, your picture is really nice! I like how you did the texture of the bears' fur)

I used OpenCanvas 4(.5? I'm not sure) and Paint Tool SAI for both of my pictures. They're really great programs that have plenty of functions, but not so many that it's confusing. The original OpenCanvas is free and SAI has a 30 day trial, if you want to just get a feel for digital before committing.
Another nice program is GIMP, which is free. I don't really use it to draw, but instead to make graphics and touch-up traditional art. Real nice for those pictures whose colors are killed by a scanner
There are a few other programs I have experience with, but since I've rambled enough already I'll shush for now Drop me a PM if you'd like some more recommendations. I love chatting about art stuff, as you can see.

Thanks, guys The doctors said she couldn't go home this weekend so she's not very happy. Maybe Monday or Tuesday though
