I only have one Alpacasso; I got it at an anime convention last week. The tag says "Kin Hsing" and I don't see any mention of "Amuse," so I guess it's probably a knockoff. I don't care It's got a little sailor hat and bandana so I named him The Skipper. The only thing with him though is that he's shaped kind of like a gorilla (wide at the front legs, narrow back legs) instead of a marshmallow. But The Skipper is a manly alpaca anyway, and says marshmallows are for little girls.

Oh! That's from UFOCatcherAddict! It's a little hard to see, but her Tumblr addy's on there as well. She also has a Store Envy shop. Serena is AWESOME! ^o^ She's a college exchange student from the USA in Tokoyo with mad UFO catcher skills that sells her hauls. I've made two purchases from her, and they arrived in about a week! She is heading back home at the end of July, so probably will only have a few more store updates while she's over there. She often has lots of adorable Amuse items, including Alpacasso. In fact, I got my first one from her (Purple Lil' Three Mouth on the end :3):

I have a few other on their way from other Store Envy sellers. There's some good info on Tumblr about them, including some drool-worthy photos, and how tell legit Alpacasso from fakies. Although, I hate to admit, but the fakies are pretty cute and (seemingly) well-done! If I ever attend another anime convention, I may have to pick one up.

UGH I checked out UFOcatcheraddict and wound up buying two things. No Alpacasso for me (yet). They are totally adorable though. I've wanted one for ages, just haven't found one that I'm willing to shell out for. I'm really fond of the ones that have flower/leaf crowns.

I love them! But they're too expensive for my tastes.
I'd want a big one because I use soft plushies like pillows and the bigger those alpacas get, the more they cost

Ah, I've been lurking for months and finally found a thread I could contribute to, yay!

I love alpacasso. My collection is small, but growing, and living in Asia gives me a leg up for getting them (it's so super cheap to just pop over to Japan whenever!)

I did it. Just ordered two Bon Bon Bowtie Alpacasso from a storenvy seller. One for myself (white w/yellow gem), one for my sister (white w/closed eyes). She'll be delighted. Me too.
