Princesesses with huge Eyelashes

I may be shooting myself in the foot with this but what is with the two ponies with the humongous caterpillars on their eyes? They look really scary. Did they sell well at all? They like pony drag queens (and before anyone says anything the drag queens I see in tv have humongous eyelashes it's not a personal insult to drag queens).

So how many boardies like the scary eyelash princesses?

Well, I for one have always misliked them... I dont see the beauty in it and would most likely have ripped them off if id ever get them as a child... I dont even want them now. That said, all for their own - some prob LOVE them

Thirded-  I saw those replacements and they looked fantastic!

I think part of the problem is that whatever it is that they made the eyelashes from- it is too thick and also tends to squish- leaving caterpillar like creatures in place of eyelashes..

They don't looks so bad when they aren't squished like caterpillars. But I've often thought about replacing them with better eyelashes myself. -That custom one was stunning.

I think it's work because the eyelashes are black that's why they look like caterpillars eek

Yeah I think the eyelashes might look much nicer if they were mint. But so often they are in less than minty condition, not so nice...

Does anyone have a pic of the custom with replacement eyelashes..?

Yes, it's a bit much with the heavy eyelashes but I like them anyway.  If you can get the eyelashes to not hunch over their eyes then they also look better.  I also like the bride pose and princess ponies so of course I like them.

But seriously, I do like the idea of rooted eyelashes for a pony. Dolls with rooted eyelashes weren't uncommon in the 1960s and thanks to hand-me-downs from my mom, I think they are quite cute! Of course they weren't so thick, but they were also a bit stiff so they retained their shape, while still being soft. A lot of them are so cute, and maybe they would work well again if they were brought back for G4, just done a little more tastefully.

I do really like the ponies themselves though, especially the one with the Cinderella carriage.

I think those Rock Lee lashes are horrible on them and I'd rather have them without. That said, I haven't seen this custom people mention here, any pics?

Yeah :/ I mean I am not one to shun a pony but I ll admit whomever thought those eyelashes looked good should have been moved from the product design department at Hasbro.

Their only plus point for me is their funky little tiaras and capes.

I like the Eyelash Princesses!  They've got... character.   Or is that chutzpah?  Either way, and I can't wait to get my own pair of 'em.

I love the ponies themselves, but the eye lashes ruin them.
