We used to have big wonderful and colourful spiders when I lived in Cali, but up here in Washington we only have tiny ugly spiders.. I'm not fond of wolf or Hobos myself :p

There are lots of jumping spiders in my yard. The biggest ones are nowhere near the size of that guy there, and they are plain brown or grey.
The tiny ones have fluro stripes on their butts in blue, red and orange.

Awww, it's cute! I love jumping spiders, I used to see them all the time in the garden at my old place. Most of the ones I ran into were black with white stripes all over. There's so many varieties and subspecies with these guys, I still run into some every now and then that I've never seen the patterning of before.

I am not a big spider fan, me and black widows go way back but I have always loved jumping spiders! They are so freaking cute and i know this sounds weird but seem like the goofiest and nicest of the spiders lol. Love em
