So there's other ways to get houses in your HH gallery? Because mine is quite empty.

I think there will be an occasional one via spot pass... but I think it's pretty much street passing.

I did read that they are planning to "update" the street pass thing, and have little hubs at the nintendo zones (like mcdonalds, or starbucks). It'll store your data, (as well as other people's data), that way you can indirectly get passes.

o_O At least, that's what I understood. I think some of the games coming out might rely more upon that sort of system, and that's why they may be putting it out.

I believe they're updating SpotPass, because Nintendo is realizing that unlike Japan, it can be pretty difficult to get a StreetPass in the US and other countries due to where you live. I've heard of people that have had a 3DS since launch, but have never streetpassed anyone. Even if you live in a major US city, it can be hard to get a streetpass (or more than a handful of them).  D:

I hear that in Japan you are constantly getting streetpasses. Like, you can't even keep up with them all. Your 10 person limit at the gate is always filled.

The most I've ever gotten in a day was like....five. And it was in a China Town in Canada.

There was a huge topic on another site I go to about Streetpasses in Japan compared to the US, and the topic creator said that he was at a baseball game in Japan and got a TON of street-passes while he was there for a few hours. Some others were saying how they could walk down the street in Japan and get 20 of them. o.o

Excluding whenever I went to a convention and got a huge amount of them, the most I got in one day would be about seven or eight and that was when I was going to college last semester.
I am happy they are changing the Streetpass/Spotpass now, so it won't be as hard to get them. I live basically in part of a major city (Houston), and I don't get too many StreetPasses, even when I go to the Galleria mall. xD:

I'm kind of surprised when I get streetpasses. I got 4 last week at the flea market. O.o; Or even the few I've gotten driving home from work.

I wished I had this thing before I graduated from college. It would of encouraged me to go to the student union daily (Which was an annoying walk, because my building was so far away from main campus).

But now this silly thing is like tethered to me, just in case. I keep trying to get some at work, in the cafeteria, because I know there is a younger crowd around for summer. But... no luck so far with that. I should just sit and eat there, but it's kinda silly eating alone.

Streetpasses are fun, but now with HH showcase, I want them even more.

I don't get too many streetpasses, but I get one guaranteed a day from my bf, and a few people at work also have 3DS' as well.

I have 700 something people in my plaza from Otakon/Bronycon and various other conventions I have been to.
I moved from NY three years ago, but whenever I go back there and go to Nintendo World I get a bunch there too. I always have my 3DS with me.

I might try to go to a brony/MLP convention on Saturday, so if I do I hope I get a lot of Animal Crossing Streetpasses, if anything. I wanna see more houses! xD

Hehe, pretty sure your villagers will still be there, if not just ask about where you've been the last week or so.
Plus I think in this game, they kinda give you ahead-up if they're moving. That's what Rory did for me, at least.

My villagers love talking about you guys! Especially Kyle - he always has something to say about everyone's who's visited and talked to him. I think he has a crush on two of you. xD!

Now I am holding off on another project to see if the villagers suggest better stuff. I have a rather short list right now.

I'm taking my 3DS to the MLP Fair to see if I get any streetpasses. For some reason I don't think I'll get as much there was I would other types of conventions.
