Evil Furby, finky kid!
« on: May 24, 2013, 10:57:02 AM »
Two nights ago, I awoke to the sound of growling and then hysterical laughter. I finally recognized it as being my daughter Gennybean's Furby. I figured it would go to sleep soon and went back to sleep, only it didn't and I finally had to get up and search for the darned thing at 3 in the morning where I found it under the bed. First I moved it to the garage, but it kept making a racket and eventually around 4 it went out the cat door into the side yard!
Gennybean was delighted with herself as it was her idea of a prank, she's only 7.
So, how should I get the little fink back?

LOL That's too funny! Though I am sorry you missed sleep over it! Mine about gave me a heartattck one night when I was on the way to the bathroom in the dark. Apparently something had woken it up and right as I walked passed it, it started making evil noises right at my knee height and I nearly jumped out of my skin!

Hahaha! Damn electronic animals!
I had a princess talking Celestia I picked up at a thrift store for a few bucks.

She got broken somehow and would randomly say "My wings are so pretty" "My barrettes (sounded like she was saying breasts!) look so pretty!" "I'm a princess. Are you a princess too?" and such.
Randomly turning on in the middle of the night. Her voice was so loud that even across the hall, past the livingroom and kitchen and into the laundry room she was bugging us.

Even after a run though the dishwasher she was STILL Talking! XD

Heh, heh. Evil Furby.... Funny revenge, it'll come to you when you least expect it. I'd always suggest throwing candy over the house and convincing the child that candy rains from the sky... I have had success with this with an 8 year old, and continued it for 2 years. HA!

That would have scared the crap out of me! I always thought Furbies sounded evil to begin with. I used to collect them, but I would never play with them because they froze up so much and made these creepy mechanical sounds. But if I heard evil cackles and laughter in the middle of the night, I'm running for the hills screaming.

I had a furby go off in a box while moving house.
the talking baby rainbow dash was funnier. One of the moviers picked up a big carboard carton and it yawned and said "I'm sleeeeepy." He almost almost freaked.

and the think geek annoyatron is one of the more eeevil things I've seen lately!  :)
