Wow, thanks for the list Bow Tie

I didn't know they were making an Aurora, oooh. Are there any pics? And where do you get your info? I want to know to know more about the LE dolls too, I'm addicted :dribble: Does anyone know what Belle goes for? I'd like to get wedding Rapunzel and Ariel one day, I missed out on those two :P

:D Sleeping Beauty to be released on diamond edition blu-ray 2014 so it is her year :) And 2015 will be Jasmine! After that, the only princesses without the tall LE dolls will be Mulan and Pochahontas who already had special blu-ray releases but went ignored - so hopefully Disney will release them to complete the collection.

Then with all the princesses as LE's, they'll start making another collection, and another, and another, because that is what Disney just do.

Oh nooo, I looked at that LE list and now I've fallen in love with LE Alice! I'll never be able to afford her now! *cries*

Was there ever a classic doll release of her? I'd love to have an Alice but LE Alice is just out of my reach :(.

(Thank you all for being patient with me, I'm a proper doll noob right now!)

There is no classic doll of Alice from the current or recent Disney store range I'm afraid :(  The LE does not use a unique Alice face, it uses the same face-mould as Snow White. I have seriously considered rehairing a classic or 17" Singing Snow White in blonde to create an Alice similar to this one XD (the dress actually doesn't actually look too impossible to recreate something similar, just layer up on frills and frills!)

I want her too!

wow! those frozen girls are gorgeous!!
was wondering are the 12" ones articulated at all?
was thinking of ordering them

It keeps changing, but the current 2013 ones have articulated arms/elbows/wrists BUT NOT LEGS, they have barbie-like legs that do not bend at the knee.
The new 2013 12" Anna and Elsa DO have the articulated legs that bend at knee and ankle.
I think it differs...check specific doll online before buying, someone here will know!
The last 2012 princess dolls DID have fully articulated legs.
The first 2009 ones had very little articulation in arms and legs. A lot of people actually don't like the articulated legs on Disney dolls, they are a bit flawed, not as good as monster high articulation for example.
If buying second hand on ebay do check which year release it looks like

Boo! Well, thank you for telling me Lyra. I shall live in hope that one day they make one! I'm really surprised they haven't, actually.

There was a Mattel/Disney Alice doll made in 1998, made using a Skipper doll, I've seen her on eBay she doesn't seem to go for much NRFB.

Oh yes sorry there have been a few Alice dolls but aside from the LE, the Disney store haven't made one in a long time which is sad. There are a few very nice ones though
I really like this one I might get it one day http://images.wikia.com/disney/images/b/b7/Alice_Doll.jpg

I am not sure if Disney dolls fit barbie clothes actually o_0 maybe someone else has tried. They can switch heads

The disney dolls can fit barbie clothes. They are slightly slimmer than Barbie But the clothes and shoes still fit well. Disney clothes fits Barbie as well.

Disney Body's also fit Liv clothes quite well.

Here is a pic of my LITDH Raquelle in DS Snow White's Outfit:

Wow, Raquelle looks gorgeous as Snow White!

Alice in Wonderland is very popular, you would think Disney would try to cash in on it :P I saw the crazy prices the LE Alice is going for on ebay - yikes! I used to have that Alice with the Cheshire Cat, aww. I don't know why I sell some of my Disney dolls because I just end up wanting them back :P

If you look at the numbers you can tell Disney made a mistake with Alice.  She should have been a LE 1500 at the minimum.  Even the unpopular dolls like Calhoun were made at a LE1000 level.  Alice should really have been at least 2500 if not more really. Disney should have known to make more of her.

OH wow- I just looked up LE Alice on ebay-
I can't believe the edition size was only 500- no wonder people are forking over the big bucks.  Although- those are REALLY big bucks for such a doll in my opinion...
