A question for the ages...
« on: May 21, 2013, 07:52:40 PM »
I've been watching a lot of the Looney Tunes lately and...

No, really, it's a legitimate question.

Because there seems to be a lot of dispute over this and really, the cartoons make sense either way. Plus, a poll sounds really fun.

Spoiler
He's always been a boy to me.  ;)

I always went with a boy. Years later, came along Tiny Tunes in which they did a female version of tweety called sweetie bird who was pink and had a bow.

a boy for sure

at least that's what i think.. cause otherwise they would have given the character distinct female features.

I always think of his a boy....

Though one time when I was at Six Flags, I saw a bunch of Tweety merchandise featuring him in a pink tutu surrounding by all kinds of pink. Threw me for a loop.

Maybe he likes to get in touch with his girly side.

Hes a boy, if you listen closely other characters will refer to him as a 'he' :)

Though growing up I always wanted him to be female >>

This reminds me of the whole Piglet thing. To me piglet is clearly a boy, he is pink because he is a a pig..thus the name piglet.  Someone keeps telling me piglet is a girl. I don't see the character that way at all. LOL  I never thought about Tweety Bird being in the same position.  Doesn't granny at times say, "put him down!"
