Does anyone have symbol/name ideas for these girls?

I just bought two new pony OCs earlier today (from bitsybat on dA)! They didn't come with cutie marks, so I'm pretty stumped about what they should be. I don't really want something super predictable (like a flower for #2), so I'm even more stumped.

I think the one on the right should definitely have something like a plant leaf, or something "nature" related, a lizard, a bird...

Like if you had a "Hasta" leaf... ?

Perhaps large, and then put small details like dew drops, a frog... something

For the left one, what about a little... like alien looking dude who was striped like her legs, maybe some googly eyes on stalks, round body... dunno, lol

I think a sprout would be nice for the one on the right, and for the left, maybe a yarnball and knitting needles?

The first one I see having a pair of striped orange socks.  Or an orange plaid apple.  Or a big ladybug either in light green or in orange and then you could call her June Bug.

The second one needs a leaf insect or praying mantis.  I can also see her with saffron yellow cocoa beans, papaya fruits, a jungle butterfly, a damsel fly, a yellow leopard, or a bunch of bananas hanging.

For the first one I see something dance related. she seems like a peppy dance instructor type.

So far I'm really loving Corona's idea of a dance instructor for the first one, but I'm still not entirely sure for #2. I'm kinda leaning towards the jungle theme though.

And the 2nd one, which is my favorite, seems to deserve something like a garland  or a druidic symbol, like

I like the idea of some sort of dance slippers for the one on the left, and something like a 'secret garden' gate for the one on the right.
