Anyone collect Tokidoki Unicornos? Show me your collections!

Hi all! I just got into these cute little works of art - Tokidoki Unicornos.

Of course, I see that I started on Series 2 - and just fell in love... I only have 3 right now
So I'm completely missing all of Series 1, never even seen them other than on eBay...

I know very little about them other than that a few out of each set are extremely rare? Like 1/50 and 1/100? Is that true?

I'd love to see pictures of your Tokidoki collections, and any info on who's the rarest of each set, prices reasonable for those, etc...

Are there any others out there besides Series 1 and 2? Any exclusives or anything?

Hi!  I have one tokidoki unicorno - Series One, Stellina.  I got her because she reminded me of Starlight from Rainbow Brite.

Monstarnomnom introduced me to them, and I believe she has most of Series One and Two.

In the US, they sell them for about $9 at Hot Topic and Books-A-Million.

They are so cute that I definitely want more!

They sell for about $7/8 at some of the little quirky shops around Seattle.

I love them... So far I have (again, series 2) - the Army one, Sakura (she seems like she's sorta rare-ish?), and Zamba... (who's awesome and reminds me of Zecora!)

Unicornos are a horrible, horrible obsession for me. lol xD I only need two more aside from the two rares from Wave two and I have all but PrimmaDonna from wave 1 ^^ Be careful, they will instantly start eating your money! lol I have seen some Wave 1's left over in Barnes and Noble, other than that I haven't seen them in stores

Rares from Wave 1: Fumo (1/50) PrimmaDonna(1/200)
Rares from Wave 2: Mario(1/50) Caramello(1/200)

The rest of them are all of equal abundance :3 Here is a picture of all my babies including my Stellina and PrimmaDonna plushes ^^ I just need Kaila and Sakura from wave 2. Waaaah x3 I have extra Cheetahs, Bambus, Rodeos, and one Vandalo left from Wave 2 if you are interested in them! :3

How much is this Prima Donna running then? Seems to be the MOST RARE?

Also... what do you mean don't buy a box? Like, select them randomly when buying them or... ? I already got 1 double out of the 4 I purchased...

PrimmaDonna and Caramello are on the same level of rareness and definitely the hardest and most expensive to find. I haven't ever seen PrimmaDonna listed for less than $150 :< Hopefully one day I can own her! x3

I meant a full box of 24 online or something :3 When selecting unicornos in stores, I suggest picking each one from a different row since it is highly likely if you pick them from the same row they will be the same unicorno unless someone took a box out and moved it. I hope that makes sense. Haha xD Also, there is no shame in carefully opening the box and feeling the bag /shifty eyes. xD But Wave two is significantly harder to feel for different ponies since all but 3 of them have no mold differences.

No no, that makes sense. I don't know if I could open them as my Hot Topic carries them behind the counter... but, the guy asked me last time if I wanted to pick it myself, so I know next time I go that I'll pick myself...

But, they have 4 rows and each is the same pony so a box only has 4 different ones and maybe a rare? Or... ? Sorry! Hahah, just trying to up my odds of finding some of the other cuties... luckily I got a Mario lined up to buy, is $25 an appropriate price for him?

And yes that is exactly it Tokidoki angered me by doing that :[ They had all of the ponies mixed around in wave one and you were very likely to get a full set if you bought a box(With the exception of the chase figures). And I thought it would be the same with wave 2.

Glad to help! At least this way it's easier to know what boxes to pick in stores I guess, but still a complete rip off and not how blind boxes should be packaged. ;/ Hopefully if they make a wave 3 they will go back to how they packaged wave 1!

My friend and I bought some at NYCC last year and after some trading I wound up with Ritmo and Metallo. I wasn't interested in collecting them until I saw series two!! ahh such neat designs and vivid colours.

I reeeeally want Primma Donna too, but I don't know if I $150 want her haha.
