It was one of the few webisodes that popped up all at once. The webisode with the seamonster in the wheelchair came out at this time. I'm like 99% positive that's when I've seen this one about the boys. If that's not it then I don't know....

That webisode was one of the few that were "exclusive" on the Ghoul's Rule Deluxe DVD when it came out.

No, that didn't really seem like DnD or the like, just some random boardgame that the guys were "role-playing"...

The episode felt a bit stereotypical for me though, once more gaming was shown as being a "nerdy guy thing" that girls don't understand and find silly.

I agree. Although the girls did sort of redeem themselves on that count in the end, when they said it's adorable, they still thought it was silly and the boys were embarrassed about their hobby, which is a shame. If MH is about being yourself, then why is gaming, or being a nerd or whatever the boys were doing silly, when other things aren't? This is a bit nit-picky, since I do believe the episode did mean well and is quite innocent, despite all the stereotypes.

I am a long time boardgamer and roleplayer and I have even LARPed on occasion. The older I get the more even the RPG scene seems to be genderwise and I do think younger girls are getting into gaming too, which i awesome, so why could the boys hobby not be presented as a positive?

So I just found out why I have such bad luck finding toys at the thrift stores in town - there's an older lady who seems to thrift very often (maybe even daily), and fills her cart with all the decent dolls and ponies on the racks.  We struck up a conversation and she told me she cleans them up and gives them to families in need.  Which is disappointing to me as a collector, but of course it's amazingly awesome of her to do that, especially on her own dime.  She was a weird mix of friendly and standoffish, but she actually asked for my phone number in case she comes across 80s MLP or MH, she said she'd give(sell?) me the ones she finds.  Now I'm just hoping she isn't some kind of weirdo, because I gave her my husband's cell phone number.

I just got back from Savers and while I was there I spot this horse and it looked very familiar. It's pretty big! Well, bigger than I had imagined.
