I need a name for my un-named Dragon CaM
Quote from: Refuse to Dance on May 16, 2013, 05:45:57 PMI need a name for my un-named Dragon CaMHere's Behind the Name's list of "serpentine" names: http://www.behindthename.com/names/search.php?terms=dragon+snake+serpent&nmd=m&suppress=yes&title=Serpentine+Names&heading=none I usually use their lists as a starting point for ideas.
3-Eyed Ghoul: Eyelita (adding to the tradition of giving her eye-related puns)Gorgon: Galatea (4 syllables; Tea for short)Mummy: Meristeku (it means "one who loves joy" according to one of those online name databases). She also goes by "Merry."Ghost: Ephemera
Ephemera is such a pretty name!I've been narrowing down names for my leprechaun OC... Down to Aisling, Aoife, Bridget, Maeve, Sorcha, and Talullah... Now I just have to send her off to be painted. When I see her face, I think I'll know.
I only have a few so far, but here are their names:sea monster-Zola (means calm)Gorgon-Lilith (from Hebrew mythology)Ice girl-Isolde ( means ice battle)Mummy-Karla (in homage to Boris Karloff, the original mummy)I can't think of last names for any of them

Double the homage, double the fun!Isolde Harbin - From the Harbin Ice Sculpture Festival.Lilith Gorgonofeden - Sorry, I couldn't resist! Ha! Honestly, Lilith on its own sounds great.Zola Molluca - From the Molluca Sea. Not sure how it's pronounced, but I think it would sound best as Mole-Ew-Kah.

Mine is Isolt. It doesn't just mean Ice battle or ruler of Ice, It is Celtic for Fair Lady :3I am a huge fan of the Tristan and Isolt legend.
