The absolute worst condition dolls I've ever seen!
« on: April 18, 2013, 10:42:33 PM »
Came across a person selling many, many dolls in just the most deplorable condition on ebay, and I swear I had tears in my eyes! I was curious if any of you have ever found anything such bad shape. I guess I want you to tell me about your "worst finds", with bonus points if you managed to salvage something out of it!

Suddenly I feel the need to buy one of them and rehabilitate it.

Then I realised that would just be giving the person who did this money.

I pity the poor dolls who end up in those children hands. If I had children, I would not let them destroy a toy like this, I think is a bad lesson to learn; If the "thing" can´t defense itself or scream it means it´s ok to be hurt or destroyed, that it´s ok to be mean. But at least who caught in those evil hands was a doll, not a living thing... or I hope that so.
Or maybe I´m overreacting, hehe! but I see evil little hands puting their fingers around those poor dolls...

Otherwise; where do you find those doll´s lots? I wrote monster high lots on ebay, but I can´t find anything...

 That is just so wrong ... so so wrong   I would never give this person money, they would likely go get more dolls and do this to them

I knew exactly who you were talking about before opening this post. Saw them last night. Heck, whoever outbid me on my MH lots is probably an Arena member, lol.

I think Operetta and Ghoulia are... The rest are a child that's never been disciplined.

Ouch. I would be embarrassed to sell something in that condition... How much do people charge for these dolls?

Sid strikes again!  But seriously, I see a bunch or rare dolls in there that would have been worth money, not to mention all of us as collectors cringe.  I guess I would not pay $10-$25 a doll for my kid to dismember and scribble all over them.  I would give them paper and pencil or tell them to go play with some sticks lol.  What a waste.

I saw those auctions too-  many are even worse than this poor guy.  I even considered the Gargoyle cuz I need his thighs, but he is soooooo scribbled on, and permanent marker is hard (impossible?) to remove from the MH bodies I'm given to understand...

THey all look like truly horrendous custom attempts.
