So I was on Ebay and found someone offering 'loose mlp figures' and took a look what they had to offer, they're a Hong Kong based seller and look at the advertised ponies

There's a Nightmare Moon in there on offer. O.o
Has she been known about for a while or is this a totally new thing on offer?

That's the nightmare moon from the TRU exclusive fan favorites set. Good seller I've bought from before, but don't get excited about that pic, half of them aren't available in that auction. They have Starswirl by herself for $32.99 and all her baby ponies aren't too cheap either.

They're offering it as a 'pick a pony' type thing with a tick box. And it came up as each being 4.99GBP and the shipping somehow only being 1.99GBP

I admit I'm tempted.

I just went looking through listings, any other time I've seen her pop up she's quite expensive like 20GPB just for her.

One hopes that if it were a scam, eBay wouldn't let them get away with it. I had to open a dispute when a user sent me a defective bootleg copy of a Pokemon game, and I got my refund (granted, eBay had to issue the refund. The slimeball seller kept my money).

I have bought from them many times before. They are a good seller and if you have any problems they try to resolve it.  none of the ponies that I have bought have being nock offs

Ah, alright. CX I don't think Tradera (Swedish equivalent) would refund ever anything since business stays between buyer and seller - and if one is a scammer, they have to turn to the police.
But it looks like I made this out to be worse than it is ... NMM is not such a bad deal.

It seems like Night Mare Moon has been found somewhere direclty from the factories. Not sure and thats because they are so cheap atm. I also got one by myself in an Auction for only 17 dollars.

Nightmare moon is SOO last year! (lol literally!) but YOu might be able to just search for her and find her cheaper in the world of eBay..
