Clothes that can be used on MH Dolls...
« on: April 14, 2013, 07:10:13 PM »
Ok, so I know that some clothes fit the MH ghouls... (with modification, lol)

Bratz
La Dee Da
Some Barbie things
Winx Shoes (Howleen mainly)

Can we make a list of items that are useable to clothe MH dolls?

I think you are confusing La De Da dolls with LaLaLoopsy dolls. La De Da clothes definitely fit.

Anyone know how Cutie Pop clothes fit them? And Winx Club? They have sets here with Winx shoes, and I'm tempted to see if they'd fit Howleen, but I've only got so much money.

I don't know about the clothes but Winx shoes do fit Howleen.  I bought a few Winx shoe sets when they were on sale a month or so ago.

I think Cutie Pops are too small- from what I've read they don't fit MH butts. Same with Winx, though Winx shoes can be made to fit.

I have found that Winx doll clothes do fit. The tops are a little bit wide but for the most part everything fits... And SOME shoes do fit. I have a couple pairs that are a little snug, but fit okay. They probably fit Howleen better.

I've gotten Winx shoes on regular MH; also, Stardoll shoes are a great fit - they're a tiny bit big, which is perfect with socks/stockings/tights.

Moxie Teenz boots are an okay fit, sometimes. some of them are too big.

I've heard Stardoll and Disney VIP shoes fit.

I know for a fact that tops for Barbie's little sister Kelly (I think they call her Chelsea now?), fit Howleen, although they're very very short. Dresses make decent-length tops for her, though.

Clothes for another of Barbie's sisters, Stacie, should fit any of the ghouls, although I haven't personally tried them on anybody. I know Bratz stuff fits Stacie, though, so it stands to reason that Stacie's stuff would fit.

Barbie pants are supposed to fit the boys rather well, and I would guess shirts would too; I had Deuce's Sig. shirt and actually thought it was Barbie.

As well as Bratz, Bratzillaz outfits fit okay; they're still a little loose, and short in the torso, but definitely workable. I believe the Bratzillaz shoes/boots fit too although I haven't tried them out myself...

I've heard that Disney Fairies dresses fit?

That's awesome that Barbie stuff will fit the boys :D I need to try that out. Ken stuff can fit the boys too if you don't mind alterations/a bit of bagginess. My gargoyle CaM wears corduroy Ken pants taken in a little at the waist.

Some Liv stuff may fit, but you gotta try on a piece by piece basis since Livs are much bigger around than MH. I've had accessories like shrugs, belts, leggings etc work for me. And purses--they're perfect, my CaMs love them :)

As GH said, Kelly/Shelly dresses and shirts work well as tops:

Halter and knee length dress

Long dress (fits perfect!) and regular tee

the purple dress has a little fur stole to go with it

I need to find out who makes the pants Frankie is wearing as they fit PERFECTLY! There's no tag though...

80's -90's Stacie's clothes fit okay, all pants are low rise on MH and the tops are mostly too short unless it's an oversize tee and then it's the right length. The newer one's clothes might fit better.

Teen Skipper (the ones that looks exactly like regular Barbie but with smaller bust and hips) works really well, items usually need just a bit of velcro overlap.

Winx club clothes fit well on MH dolls but shoes don't fit very well, they're a little small

But I suppose it depend what clothes/shoes and what MH doll. I don't have Howleen and I speak about winx club clothes ans shoes european. I've never tried with a Jakks pacific Winx

I've been doing a little research on this topic and here's what I've found (some of this is repeats, sorry):

Clothes/shoes that fit MH ghouls:
  • Bratz clothing (tops may be a bit loose/short, pants may be too short)
Bratzillaz clothing (slightly loose, short in torso)
LaDeeDa clothing (only outfits w/ skirts work w/o modification - LDD hips/legs are much smaller than MH)
Disney fairies doll clothing (may be a little tight)
    Dal clothing (loose)
    Blythe clothing (loose - fit w/ cinching/modification)
Moxie girls clothing (a bit too loose but fit w/ cinching/modification - shoes do not fit)
    Winx Club clothing
    Juku Couture doll clothing
Teen Skipper clothing (loose - fit w/ velcro overlap)
BFC Ink clothes (tops fit, but slightly baggy)
Barbie's little sister Kelly shirts/dresses (work as tops for MH, Kelly shirts are very short)
80's-90's Stacie's clothes fit okay, all pants are low rise on MH and the tops are mostly too short unless it's an oversize tee and then it's the right length
    Japanese fashion doll clothing?

Shoes:
  • Bratzillaz shoes
    Stardoll shoes
    Disney VIP shoes?
Winx shoes (fit Howleen best, may be too tight for regular MH)
    Moxie Teenz shoes (fit loosely)
    old Spice Girl doll boots
1/16 Blythe doll shoes (can fit MH dolls as long as they're not tall like boots; they are created for dolls with flat feet whereas MH dolls have angled feet.)
open-toed Liv shoes may fit MH girls

Wigs:
  • Liv wigs
    Moxie Teenz wigs
    size 5/6 dolls wigs

Nefera:
  • Disney VIP doll clothing (too big for regular MH)
    Stardoll clothing may fit Nefera
    Liv clothing?

Boys:
  • Bratz Boyz clothing (pants are too short though)
    Barbie clothes
    Liv clothes?
    Ken shoes

I'd love to have a sticky post for this, with photos of how the different things fit MH dolls.  I could do that, if people would find it useful.

Disney Fairy dresses do fit! I have a white, sparkly dress from a Tinkerbell doll that looks fab on Abbey!

Family Dollar sells dolls that are kind of a knock-off of MH. They're called Midnight Magic. Their clothes look like they would fit MH dolls, too.
