Shower time!

I have a love/hate relationship with showers during the winter. (More emphasis on hate). Our ceiling has little insulation, so the upstairs gets freakishly cold in the winter. Seriously, it can be in the mid 50s Fahrenheit. Space heaters are not allowed on our lease. Thanks, landlords.

You need a parka just to be in the bathroom, so getting undressed is torture. Then the warm or hot water is SOOOO nice and you never, ever want to get out of it again because it's still frigid out there.

But once you threaten convince yourself to get out lest you have an enormous water bill, you are in the not-warm-enough bathroom, undressed and wet.

Summer showers are great though! Yay!

What was the question again? Oh yeah. My showers tend to be longer than shorter mostly because I want the bathroom to warm up a little bit from the steam.

I prefer baths, because then I can enjoy the water for as long as I want!

Gotta have quick baths here, or you'll need someone to get an acetylene torch to get you out of the ice.

It takes me forever to wash my hair, so I'm in there for at least 10 minutes.

I average 5-8 minutes, alas for my love of soaking in the heat of a good morning shower.  It's a mix of trying to keep my morning prep within its allotted time budget, and this kind of creeping guilt that all this water has been heated ($$) just for my luxury.  (I read too much, and when you see what other parts of the world have to deal with for their water...)

My son, on the other hand, would stay in till he grew gills, if I let him.

I HATE taking a shower when i'm cold :S:S Which was, naturally, a big issue since i moved here to Iceland :P But I do shower very regularly (including washing my very long hair) so I just had to suck it up. It's gotten easier now that i have hockey practice almost every day and I go straight to the shower as I walk through the door - no amount of cold can stop me anymore

But i'm fairly quick. it takes a bit of time to wash and condition my hair, but I still usually take up to 10 minutes. I'm quicker than my husband!

I voted for 10-20 minutes, but it depends on if I wash my hair or not. Hair wash-showers tends to take 20-30 minutes with washing and condition but I take showers more often than I wash my hair and then it takes like 5 minutes.

why not keep a hot water bottle with your gown wrapped around it on the counter?

I spend anout 15 minutes in the shower. I would spend longer in there but, alas, I have lots of things to do Or at least should be doing

I picked 20-30, I like enjoying the water I think I average around 20, but it can go a bit longer. And when trying to move and coordinate around the hubby, showers can take a little longer

I actually just got out from one of my super quick showers. If its purely functional which most obviously are then I'm in and out in a couple of minutes even when washing my hair. If I need to warm up or cool down that's really the only time I linger in the shower. Baths however are a different story altogether, I come out of those looking like a prune lol.

im more of a bath girl... i looove to get my soak on! but i take more showers than baths cause right now there are 6 people here atm... ugh long story. when i shower it is usually in the 10-20 minutes camp but if im in a hurry i can be in and out in 5 minutes.

I also average about 8-10 minutes... don't have much time for longer showers... on the weekends I may stay in a tad bit longer... maybe 15 lol

I do both, I take shorter ones when I have something I want to do or watch on tv. I take longer and hotter ones when my back is hurting me with the weather or due to work. My bathroom is in the basement, and yes its a little cold.
