Does anyone here collect them or know anything about them? Or know someone that does.

What kind? CPK are my main collection, (downsized, but Colecos, some Jesmar, PA and Mattel, mini poseables and PVC minis,  and 3 TRUS, 3 Softies now) and there are lots of others that do. THere used to be lots of online clubs, now there are just a few. Eg the recently moved 'CPKCC' and 'Open Cabbage'.

I used to love them as a kid. My great aunt would take me to the Babyland General Hospital every time i would visit her. I even had one named after me (would really like to have her mib). now i would love to have the ponies as they would fit into my collection better.

I have no idea what kind they are. I don't really know much about them. I didn't even know there were different kinds. Lol. I know they're from the late 80's/early 90's. i was born in 87 and my sister was born in 85. To be honest I was never really a big fan of them. They always kind of creeped me out when I was younger. (And still kinda do!  )

Anyway, I mostly need help Id-ing, what goes where or what pieces a specific doll had, and price checks. I have no idea what dolls I have but I do know I have the check up center play set complete, and the dentist play set almost complete. I'm still looking for a few pieces in the house. Can anyone tell me anything about these? I never see them on eBay so I have no idea how much they're worth or anything. Even just basic info.

Hmm.  I was never into CPK but I know a lot of folks around here are.  Maybe they'll see it and can help.

today i was out shopping with my boooooyfriiiieeend (god i love saying that~) and i thought i might check out the newest cabbagepatch kids line. CABBAGEPATCH KIDS... kids... wuht... aside from the grammatically incorrect title, these ones are nothing compared to the older ones. on the back of each box it shows how limitting the line is. theres only a certain amount of "curriers" to those from and they all have copy-paste names. we found one little blonde doll that was obviously female in every way possible named Liam Mia. yeah. apparently Liam is a girls name. and we saw about 10 Autumns. its actually kinda sad how downhill its gone...

We noticed this a while ago. I miss when the selling point was that every doll was "one of a kind" like you!
