I'm not quite sure why you're putting "things" and "people" in quotations like that, but let me just explain a little something about breeds and breeding.

All dogs are descended from wolves. Nothing about a dog is "normal" compared to a wolf, yet I am guessing you have no issues with them.
People have bred dogs to be super tiny, super huge, have excess skin, smushed faces, have curly coats, different coloured eyes, and different skills abilities and personalities.
Nothing about a domestic dog compared to a wolf is "normal" and very few breeds still look anything like a wolf.

We love dogs specifically for those quirky breed traits bred into them. Each breed appeals to a different person. 175 different AKC recognized breeds with extremely different appearances and temperaments to choose from (and yes, two hairless breeds).
NONE of this spawned from nature. It's all selection and breeding. And guess what? Most breeds are bred to LOOK a certain way as well.

The rat fancy is growing in popularity much like the dog breeding one. Any colour combinations besides agouti and black are "unnatural" as well.
They are PETS.
The only difference between a hairless rat and a normal rat is appearance and the fact that you need to mind their temperature more than you do a regular rat.
But you need to have special care with a lot of pets too!!, Shih Tsus need special brushing, bulldogs need their folds cleaned ultra tiny dogs need special care for their fragility,  etc etc.

I find your post to be pretty insulting actually. Not really sure why you'd post something like that besides to try to hurt someones feelings.

What?!  You found two of my favorite wingers, and a TAF baby in a thrift bag of fakies?!  Soooo jelly here.  I've got a new thrift store that's having it's grand opening tomorrow, so I'm heading there bright and early in hopes of finding something good.  ^_^  Wish me luck!
