help me decide where to go with my collection

As many of you know I'm mainly a g4 collector. I've reached a point where I have (or am going to get) almost every brushie pony i want from G4. At this point im wondering if i should go on and get all the rest of the brushables, or turn my attention to other collections such as my blind bags im very behind there or maybe monster high or maybe focus on my marvel figures or fakes or other gens >< so many options. I guess I'm looking for opinions here. anyone?

well if you liek the other gens go for those.. I voted to work on other gens..

I say work on other gens also.  If you already have all of the G4 that you really want then you can probably pick up the rest on the second hand market when they become less popular.

It depends on what you are interested in. If you have other gens are you are genuinely interested in them, then I would suggest collecting them. But if you honestly feel like G4 is the only gen for you, focus on your Marvel figures or Monster High if you've become attracted to those

I voted random stuff you like. Because seriously, if you're on the fence, save your money until you decide what you really want, or get other things you want.

with G4 being very repetitive at the moment I would go for Monster High, I'm a G1 collector and I'm focusing on my ponies but I am buying Jinafire Long today and my boyfriend bought me Ghouls Rule Frankie a couple of weeks ago. I've bought my expensive MH purchases last year those being; Meowlady and Purrsephone and Toralei.
Though it's up to you.
I'm more into DC than Marvel but I haven't yet collected any figures because I'm ponies come first and MH comes second and there's not much cash left for any other collections lol

I've gone for "get all G4" and "work on Marvel".

Personally I think that as G4 isn't that big, it's a nice idea to try and keep up now. I know people say get things when the market has calmed down, but that doesn't always happen the way we want it to. Also I think there is a real satisfaction to knowing you are up to date and have the whole set (can you tell that's what I'm doing ?)

I also think that maybe a step away to one of your other passions would be a nice idea as it gives you the chance to keep everything pretty equal, so nothing is neglected for too long as it can be hard to get back in touch after a while. It will aso perhaps give you the opportunity to think more about the direction your pony collection is going in whilst still satisfying the collector in your ^_^

That's a good mantra, I collect ponies, wrestling figures, sneakers, video games, dvds, and vinyl import records because when one category gets boring I can usually find some interesting things in the other categories.

Or just save your money, that's the safest approach,

I agree with Stromness...if you are hesitating then that's probably an indication that nothing is capturing your attention enough to spend your money on it. However, if you are determined to move on, I would vote for trying other generations of pony This is the Pony Corral after all...

lol i think I've made my decision thank you all for your input I decided to move forward in g4 while working on everything else includeing other gens my 5 g1s and 3 g3s are lonely and so are my marvel (poor gambit he misses rogue) now must find more shelveing
