Surprise FF and I think I'm addicted to fixing up

Got this lot for Skyflier and Dancing Butterflies, but going through found a very abused Cotton Candy. When I flipped her over:

I was quite excited! Though she was in pretty rough shape.

I do like how she turned out and I think I may now be addicted to fixing up ponies (which probably explains how I ended up bidding on this...) Whilst cleaning her up I also fixed two ponies who couldn't stand right, at least five with tail rust and one with a truly gross internal mold problem, as well as random white-out, pen, etc. Muahaha. Some of the marks are still visible on Cotton Candy, but I am happy- the rust came off and most of the ink.

Except for the flat foot all the ponies were in really good condition, actually. The magic pocket girl even still had her coin and the flocking was pretty much pristine (if a bit yellowed) on the So Soft. I did learn with all this that boiling TAF Strawberry apparently turns her pink and it makes the paint bubble off the carousel ponies. Oops! A bit bummed about Strawberry as she's my favorite childhood pony... but the carousel one has major regrind so I'm taking it as a sign to do a custom saddle paint hehe.

Great job! I know, isn't restoring ponies awesome? There's nothing like the feeling of seeing a happy, clean, beautiful pony who used to be really sad-looking. Keep at it! The world needs more bait-pony-rescuers!

Aw, she looks lovely! Congrats on your new ponies and your new restoring hobby. I love seeing people restore ponies, especially G1s! It does seem like a lot of the time, "bait lots" don't really have bait worthy ponies in them.
