G3s repurposed?

I've seen many a blindbag keychain, but these are new to me!

I wish people would stop mutilating ponies for ridiculous purposes. Who on earth wants a key chain this size? Plus, it's lazy! Do not like!

What kind of bag is big enough to put a full size G3 keychain on?

I guess you'd never lose your keys with something that big? But as mentioned, it couldn't fit in a pocket...this is just a beyond-stupid idea.

I'm looking over at my shelf with my G3s on it and imagining carrying my keys around with them. Blindbags work well because they're small and don't have hair to ruin or get in the way.

She's actually sold some which makes me curious as to what they look like on keys. At least they're G3.5s and G3s instead of pricey rare G1s?

I don't like this at all. But that's my personal opinion. I don't particularly like the idea of sticking metal into a perfectly good pony, and it's not even a practical keychain. They're huge!

Hmm, I remember a trend from when I was a kid where people would go around with fifteen or twenty keychains dangling in a big tangle from their backpack or bag. Maybe it's back, and a little more efficient this time? It looks like the keychains are pretty nonevasive too, stuck in among the mane plugs - but I'd worry about them pulling out, unless the ponies were opened up to anchor them well. My assessment: not my style, but I just hope those keychains don't rust!

I agree. I mean, it could be worse (like putting plants in them). At least these ponies could still be easily salvaged and used once again as toys/collectables. But this is just impractical...

It does seem a little strange that anyone would pay to have someone else do this. It's just a hook/eye thingie and a keychain screwed into a pony. Even if you aren't craftsy, this is easy! And the hair would look really bad after a few tosses into your ultra-giant bag, though you could clean all the metal off the bottom of that bag with the magnet on some of their feet. I agree with Vintergarten- this is lazy. It's not art, it's screwing something into a plastic horse and hawking it off to people with no taste.

It's also a bad idea for pony collectors, the only people in the world who COULD lose their keys- "I know I put them near this box of baity ponies...."

I'm not opposed to this kind of thing myself.  I mean there are tonnes of g3s people can't find homes for.  I have lots myself.  But a keychain doesn't seem that practical.  I mean, like already said, they're huge, you'd have to have a handbag for them to go in.  You couldn't use them for car keys because they'd weigh to much to have them hanging from your ignition.  And then there is the hair issue.   I keep ponies in my handbag, they get gross from it.  I'd totally use a McDonalds or ponyville pony as a key chain, but not a full sized g3.

Do not want. Although I suppose most G3s aren't rare (although some of those used there are pretty uncommon!) I still think this is a slightly stupid idea. Talk about the most impractical keyring of all time.
I suppose you wouldn't lose the key it was on but that hair and the magnet in the foot would probably cause issues. Storing magnets next to things like mobile phones and credit cards is a really, really dumb idea, too.

Lol! OMG - I did this...seriously one house key and about 30 key rings lol!

I suppose at least there would be a much smaller change of me loosing my keys and I bet a thief would think twice over stealing keys with a giant Pinkie Pie attached.
