G1 symbol misprint?

I got a Moondancer on Ebay lately because her symbols seemed like they were in really good condition (and they are! kinda rare for symbol-rubby moondancers!), but when she arrived I noticed her symbols also seemed oddly misprinted!

The symbols on her other side are better aligned, but on that side the moon is just kind of floating away like that, haha. How common is this? Do you think it'd devalue her, or add value because of the rarity of it? I haven't seen symbols be so off before...

I guess if anyone else wants to share their really misprinted symbols for curiosity's sake, go right ahead.

It's not that uncommon for ponies with multiple color glitter symbols.  It doesn't really add to their value, most people prefer them properly placed.

I have a G1 Stocking whose symbol is missaligned too. But I have no clue what her value is.

I think there was a topic recently about factory errors vs. factory flaws, misaligned symbols would probably fall into the flaw category.  Now if you had a G1 with the wrong symbol printed on her, that would almost certainly garner quite a bit of interest and value.

Symbol misprints neither detract from, or add value to the pony.

here is my  misprint, the reason i have a small army of glory's
i call them special ponies,
i think they weren't effect the price much.  unless to loved that certain pony you might want to buy all variations of that one you find of it

Cute What a great find.

It is one of the more commonish "flaws" which come up to be honest - you find a lot of out of alignment symbols or even symbols completely missing one particular colour.

It doesn't add value I don't think and whether it devalues or not would be down to individual collectors I think. Personally for me I would not expect to pay as much for a flawed pony as I would for one with perfect symbols, but I am sure others would be the opposite. So I would value her a little less than a normal nice Moondancer.

That's kinda cool. Although, if I was collecting I'd prefer a nm pony with her symbols correctly aligned.
