UK Ponies: Sainsbury's has blindbags.
« on: March 25, 2013, 01:27:35 AM »
If any UK ponies are after the yellow blindbags Sainsbury's has them. Which are the ones that have the three 'special' princess ponies.

I picked up two from my local branch yesterday and was somehow lucky enough to get a Celestia straight off. :P

I'll have to have a look, last time I found them in there they were an older wave. They weren't with the toys though, they were on another mysterious aisle.

Oooh
Yeah when I first found some in mine they were the blue ones and there was only a few in the box. And then they never appeared again. o.o

They stopped selling them at my local one due to someone stealing half of the last box they had. It was definitely an older person too because the less desirable ponies had been thrown back into the box. :(
When they did sell them they used to be on the ends of the toy aisle as opposed to on the actual aisle itself. They have a section that was for the smaller blind bag-style toys. Look for the vast array of Moshi Monsters stuff and you'll probably find them.

I'll go to a larger Sainsbury's and see if they have them in. Sainsbury's are very patchy on stocking G4s so it will be awesome if they do. :)

Cant be as bad as one of my local Tesco stores...for a while they were selling blind bags [the Lego Star Wars ones I think and another couple] in the big security cases. You know the ones sometimes Xbox games and DVDs and cameras are sometimes sold in? One big box with one little bin bag and you needed a staff member to free it.

Oh geez.

I remember when the dolly mix were around finding one bag that had been opened but put back. But the things people will do for these is nuts.

Also, apparently the yellow ones aren't the most recent wave? It's something like the wave before apparently

I really hope one of my local Sainsbury's have started to stock blindbags, I get a discount there!!

They are all usually pretty rubbish at stocking pony stuff though.

Mine has a small amount of ponies but has an okay selection from what I've seen. My ASDA is worse :(

Round here it is the other way round. Asda is pretty good and always gets in new ponies when they come out and usually has blindbags and other bits. Sainsburys have the odd brushable size and sometimes a Rainbow Dash FS but most times they have absolutely nothing! Tesco aren't too bad.

Strange how they differ from area to area!
