I don't think I've ever been more embarrassed in my life.
For the last few months I have been using Moneypaks to fund my account instead of my credit card.
I have loaded $20-$200 dollars on Moneypak in the past few months no problem.
Last night 3/21/13 The boyfriend and I went to Rite Aid and I loaded one for $20 to pay off my Ebay pony winnings.
Everything went smoothly, until I got home and tried to add funds to my Paypal.
I kept getting a "you have insufficient funds". Called Rite Aid back and they told me that the card had been activated and was no longer their responsibility. Called Moneypak and their customer support was closed.
Called today at 11:00 am, finally spoke to a representative, she said that the Moneypak should work that she sees no error with it. Tried it on the Moneypak website and the Paypal website. She then came back and told me that Moneypak was down and that if I wanted to I could wait and see if it works later or get a refund.
So here I sit, with an EWT of 20 min to get a refund?!?!
I've never not paid for anything in my life, I've started contacting sellers and letting them know.
I will NEVER use moneypak again, especially if this does not get resolved in my favor.
Food for thought, If you need to reload paypal, Moneypak my not be a good option right now.
4/4/13
STILL NO refund.
Went to the Rite-Aid that sold it to me to get Paper Towels.
The no longer stock Money-Paks!
Display was completely gone, checked everywhere and not a money-pak in sight!
I was the victim of hit and run on 4/3/13 in the Target parking lot. :/
Someone literally backed up so far they ran my car over, then took off.
Crumpled the hood, messed with the steering wheel and the brakes screech now.
My car is in the shop until Saturday.
Luckily i got 90% of the things I needed to ship.
Everything will go out ASAP with extra goodies added for the delay. :/
