The paint storage thread got me wanting to see everyone's customizing home!  I'm currently splitting my studio up into two different rooms and I'd love to see everyone else's setup so I can get some fresh ideas on what to do with my newly added space.  Of course, I'm stuck at work right now so I can't post a picture of my current workspace, but I wanted to get the ball rolling!  I'll post pics of mine tonight when I get home.

Well I posted my paint storage on the other thread but can post pics of my other work areas here. :) It is a mess atm as I am reorganizing and cleaning my studio but here are some messy pics  :shocked: I rehair and do hair jewelry on my bed in front of netflix ^.^

It's an old cassette tape holder that I found at Goodwill for $5 :D

A corner of my kitchen floor.  'Cause then paint can be cleaned up.  Of course the paint and such is all in the living room.  Working on clearing a space in the basement.

Well it's supposed to get into the 20's tomorrow night, so I figured I'd start moving stuff into the new room tonight. Even my little fake fireplace can't keep my current studio warm enough to be out there on nights like that!  So this is my current space with stuff strewn everywhere while I try to clear one of the desks to move it inside.

And I have 2 of those tall cabinets in the corner which are moving in too. And those drawers. They're full of paper stuff which is not faring too well out here.  Neither is the desk for that matter, which I bought while living in the desert. Humidity, ugh!  All of my little shelves on top of it are U shaped now!  Lesson learned by the desert girl!  Lol!

I'll miss my view while I'm painting!  But I'll still do airbrushing and stinky or dirty projects out here. View was better before that dang workshop went in though. Booooo.

The plastic cubbies above it are for organizing my current projects so that all their bits stay together.  I've got a plastic bin that's slightly bigger than a large shoebox that holds my hair. 

This is actually a bigger shot of my whole workshop, taken last weekend:

On the right you can just barely see the bookcase with miscellaneous supplies and hair, and my air compressor's hose (hooked up to my beast of a compressor).  I took some time tonight and rearranged the bookcase a bit and got a bigger bin for the hair, and actually set things up in a more logical manner.

The little enclosure on the right is a closet under my stairs (we live in a basement apartment in my mother's house, and the stairs lead up to her half of the house)), which my husband converted into an airbrush nook for me.  On the left, is my little black kitty who enjoys sitting next to me (usually right by that yellow bag-thing on the left, where there's a hope chest)yowling, trying to get into my lap, and supervising my every move.
