Okay, feeling a little better about this one now!

Beautiful drawings! Happy arena-versary! :)
Thanks so much!

I really love your drawings!

I love markers, they're my go-to for traditional drawings. Microns are good for lineart like people have already recommended, prismacolor's fine line markers are pretty good too. I like Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens a lot... I use all three though and they're all kinda cheaper options, I think. What sort of paper do you use for your marker drawings, if you don't mind me asking?

Not at all! I'm using Pen Sketcher's by Bee Paper. Was on the cheaper end, but since I was just starting out I figured it'd be good to start out with and get practice on! I'll definitely be keep an eye out for all those pens, thanks! I actually got a little impatient today since I knew it would probably be a while till I got to Blick's so I grabbed a cheap four pack of pens at Target today, and I am so pleasantly surprised by them! Ready to get drawin' with these babies!

Thank you! Man, I am debating it, but it's tricky for me to get time off as it is in the summer, and the extra travel time could make it even trickier! I liked the idea someone brought up of a mini-meet in the Twin Cites area since there are so many members from around here! I should go check that thread out again!

o wow Hoshi looks so awesome! thanks a lot hun. lol i dont make it over to Pony Art very often so it took me a while to stumble across this (i tend to spend the most time over at Customs) you did a wonderful job and youre improving all the time. =] ill have to try out the Prismacolor markers... ive been fiddling around with Copics (love them but theyre SOOO expensive!) but dont quite have the knack at it yet. but the fact that the pack i have is all grays and black lol... have to be in a monotone mood to do something with them!

You're doing well with the markers!  I love working with Prismas.

No problem! Ha, that gave me a little extra time to fix it up before you saw it! Ooo copics look like so much fun to shade with, but yeah they sure are expensive! I wish you could layer up with prismas like it looks like you can with copics, but its been fun trying to get the same effect by layering colored pencils on top of the markers.

You're doing well with the markers!  I love working with Prismas.

Thanks so much! Yeah I love how vibrant they are! I just need to get myself some more shades!

These are lovely :) I would like one, too, if you're not too busy. I have the hairstyle for the mane in my avi with accessories, though I prefer the darker color in my sig for hair color. If possible, I think I might like her tail in ringletts :)

Your artwork is gorgeous!  If I'm still new enough (and you're not too busy), I would love to see your take on my persona :)
