Thanks! If I get faster at these I might have to open it up to more people! I am excited people like it!

I'd surely request one of Marigold.  She has long long tresses you could have fun with.  ;)

Glad you like her!

Thanks everyone for the compliments! I think I am going to try to keep this open to those that haven't gotten any art of their OCs or want help creating them (so fun!) for a while and see if I get any more takers, but if it's pretty quiet I will let everyone know if I am open to take requests!

These are all very lovely! I'm not an artist but I am curious, what do you use to color your pictures?

Thank you! I am using a combination of Prismacolor and Blick Studio art markers, and I ended up using prismacolor colored pencils over the markers on many of the drawings to help blend or make colors I didn't have. The outlining was all done with an extra fine point Sharpie, though I think I might try to find something different for outlining in the future since the Sharpie bleeds quite a bit!

Thanks Zennabug! I'm already itching to do another- they are kinda relaxing to work on!

for outlineing id suggest Micron pens, nice range of point size. i do most of my inking with those, and a brush style paintpen. ive spaced on the brand name im using but its really fun to work with and will give you different thickness lines depending on how much pressure you apply.

I've heard good things about micron, I will have to try them out! Aw man, I saw some awesome paint pens like what you're describing the last time I was at Blick, but I just shelled out a bunch of money for my other markers so I figured better hold off!

yeah i need to practice more with the fancy brush pens, i hear a lot of the pros use them (and got nagged by someone to start usin them too) theyre definately fun as hell to work with but my hands just need to learn how much pressure to use for consistant lines. so yeah, long story short: check them out, theyre worth it!

I'll start saving up some money! I appreciate the advice, and I attempted Hoshi no Tama for you, but her eyes turned out creepy! Also bleeding marker everyyywhereee! Sorry! I can may try to fix it up after I get back from a trip out of town!

I really love your drawings!

I love markers, they're my go-to for traditional drawings. Microns are good for lineart like people have already recommended, prismacolor's fine line markers are pretty good too. I like Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens a lot... I use all three though and they're all kinda cheaper options, I think. What sort of paper do you use for your marker drawings, if you don't mind me asking?
