Show me your worst!! ( but loved ponies )

Age spots, regrind, rusty buckets, horrible highlighter makeovers and losers of fights with lawn mowers... I want to see your worst condition ponies. 

I'm curious as to what kind of over looked "baits" have found happy homes, even with their imperfections. Ponies that just seem to have a special spot in your heart because they just look like they've had a rough life. Even if there is no way to restore them.

Wind Drifter is my favorite Flutter ( I love her colors ) and I might even start an army collection LOL She has highlighter makeover and her wing mechanism is all but broken off completely. Since her symbols and paint are flawless, I can't see any reason to "bait" her and I don't customize anything earlier than G3 through G4's.

I read yellow ponies respond very well to sun fading? Other than that I don't know what else I can do to remove the highlighter makeover without risking her excellent symbols and paint. 
If she can completely fade her highlighter, she'll probably be as near mint perfect as she can be minus the wing/mechanism.

I think its great as collectors we can love ponies with issues as much as perfect ponies. I have lots of first tooth babies which have issues but I love every single one!

I have an Argie Whizzer covered in red marker with one of her eyes gone and the other has a scratch in it, and she has no mane or tail  I need to take some pics.

I bought her last spring/summer for really cheap, and I think I knew she had problems but thought I didn't have to deal with them. Fast forward to this winter, I started to learn more about the signs of rust and decided to pop her open. Her insides were completely black. I felt awful. I've been working on cleaning her out, and now I'm going into sunfading her, because I promised I'd try to get her back to pink. She's sort of peachy brown all over, and has a brown "cut" on her face, is missing a lot of glitter, and would probably be considered bait by anyone else. But I love her and I want to make up for all the months that I let that rust sit inside her. With all the work I've put into her, I don't think I could ever upgrade to a pink Parasol.

But she means a lot to me - when hubby (the bf) lived with some friends, our canary got out and stuck behind a bunch of furniture. In trying to clear everything out of the way and rescue the silly bird, he found this pony and pulled it out for me.

Aw poor Starflower! I think she wins, lol.

I need to start getting photos of my poorer ponies and make them feel more loved. =P I have tons of ponies with haircuts, chews, marks, paint scuffs, cancer, rust stains, and frizzy hair. I love taking in ponies that others would use as bait. I do have limits, but generally if the pony can at least look decent and display nicely from one side, I'm happy.

Poor girl!!!! There are some sad looking ponies here. But its nice to know there are collectors out there that will love them I had a few but found new homes for them

The 2 Italian Blossoms
Both have many flaws, but the worst is the tear in the first one's hoof.  They came in a lot I bought off Ebay. The seller was selling a small lot of very well loved ponies as BAIT. But at least 3 or 4 of them were Nirvanas! I couldn't let somebody customize them! So I bought the lot to try to save them.

It's great to know that there are many collectors out there who love their ponies for who they are!

Lots of cancer, rough hair, red splotches, and a head darker than his body. Yet, he is my favorite pony and very well loved!
