I think we need to remain civil, and friendly whether it was seen as bragging or not, she was pointing out a flaw or meant to. If we aren't nice this thread might end up locked and members warned or reprimanded.  And if it continues further, do we want the whole MH forum shut down? It's meant to be a friendly place and for fun.  This thread is technically a bragging thread as the poster wanted people to show off their collections.

I think THATS a bit extreme...I mean we definietly need to keep it fun and friendly, but I don't see them shuttting the forum down over one of us expressing an opinion, its not a dictatorship lol

I have stopped buying as of late. I made sure I still have money for bills and  what not, so everything is fine. But thanks for the concern!

That's good to hear. You have to admit, though, that you do post about splurging on dolls despite having no job on a frequent basis. Whether intentional or not, you do come across as being rather proud of that fact.

I think there'd have to be an explosion of animosity and incivility in the forum for the mods to even consider shutting the whole thing down, and even then they'd most likely make judicious use of the banhammer first. I know you were basically just meaning "Let's keep it all sunshine and rainbows in here" but even so ...

No, it's not intentional. I tend to write about what's on my mind when I post. And not having a job/finding one is ALWAYS on my mind. I apologize if I've come off as whiney or braggy or proud or something. Lol That wasn't really my intention. I just write.    But in my defense, I don't think I'm wrong for being excited about getting dolls and wanting to post on here about it. I mean isn't that what a forum is for? Idk, everyone is entitled to their opinion though.


I agree we should just keep it nice and civil. I think a lot of times it's hard to convey what you're thinking into typing, and it can easily be misunderstood. But I feel like we should be mindful of that and instead give each other the benefit of the doubt before jumping down peoples throats right away. So to speak. Just my opinion.
