Cookery Pony accessories
« on: March 08, 2013, 01:22:44 AM »
Hello, this is a bit of a price check and a query on how often these items come up. I'm just about to complete my set of cookery ponies  and I'd quite like to have their accessories too. The combs are pretty standard, but how often do the aprons come up for sale? And how much do they tend to go for?

Thanks in advance!

I've paid between $10-12 for the aprons in the past. Haven't seen any come up for sale for a while though.

Thanks Party :) I haven't seen any on eBay recently, but then again I don't tend to actively look for accessories, so...

I have only ever seen them sold once :(

Your best bet might be ebay.co.uk with accessory lots

The aprons are not the hardest to find but they of course don't show up as often as some of the US accessories. I agree with Party and I would expect to pay the $10-12 mark per apron; although I think they are often mistaken for doll or other toy accessories and therefore they end up in lots or mismarked for auction.

On the combs - 3 of them are easy to find as they are the same colours as other releases but Nice & Spicy comes with a minty green colour of comb which is very tough to track down.

Thanks Cat, I knew I'd see you on this thread! I didn't realise that about Nice 'n' Spicey's comb, how annoying. I find it hard enough to ID those sorts of things on eBay as it is, pictures never really show the colour of the combs and I'm no expert. Hmm. I'm trying to work out a way of doing this that doesn't involve me buying bags of combs!

Its inevitable I'd show up...as soon as there is even the remote accessory discussion...I am like a cat with catnip.

I can assure you there is nothing wrong with just buying lots and lots of combs :P

Do you have the comb which came with the Perm Shoppe? The comb you want for Nice and Spicy is that shade/colour but darker. The Perm Shoppe comb is easy enough to track down so its a handy reference for you.

I think there is, I have too many things as it is!

I actually don't, because up until now I haven't voluntarily bought a comb. I have to be careful about opening the door to comb-buying...

You see? This is why I don't want to buy a comb. I am afraid in case I end up
with twenty. I was going to collect all of Baby Quackers' accessories also, and despite the fact I've now found the duck comb which is the correct shade of purple, I'm still afraid to but it in case somehow it opens the door to an avalanche of combs.
