Need some input on Prisma markers!
« on: March 03, 2013, 09:28:52 PM »
Does anyone here own a set of Prisma markers? Right now, I'm working with 72 which I bought not too long ago and since I have more money now, I would like to complete the colors to 156. I'm quite in a dilemma and contemplating whether or not I should buy the 156 set or if there is a way to acquire and incorporate my current 72 to make 156? I know Copic markers give you the opportunity of mix and matching with sets, not sure if Prisma does too? I just don't want to end up with extras if I don't have to but if no can do.. then I suppose back up is fine. There's just not enough room. :c Also, I'm not big into buying individuals endless its paint.

I don't know of a way to do this unless you're doing individuals or smaller sets.  :/

Have you tried www.dickblick.com? THey might have smaller sets you can mix and match to get to 156. I'm not as familiar with PRisma Markers. I've only investigated Prisma colored pencils and Copic Markers. Good luck!

Im in your boat, only its with the pencilcrayons.  i dont think there are filler sets available..atleast not from the company itself.

That said, it might be worth to see whats in each pack.  I had some pantone markers and found that some that i used alll the time would just give out so it might be a good idea to have extras of colours you use.
