When do I stop?!?!

Ok...Right now I actively collect: Monster High, Barbie, MLP, La Dee Da, Bratzillaz, Disney dolls, Novi Stars, Winx. I adore and love collecting...but as I look at all my dolls...I think "geez...at what point to I stop?". I only buy one of each character release for all of my collections except MH and Barbie. I dunno...it's like there is no end to collecting! And I don't want to stop collecting any of those I mentioned. I have sooo many. There are other collections i also have but I'm not actively collecting (SSC dolls, LPS Blythe). Anyone else feel this way?!

Eh, you just have to set your own limits.  Say, "I will only have X amount of ponies" or "I will never spend more than X dollars on MH stuff."  Else you'd just run yourself bankrupt.

When you are done? If you are overwhelmed you could always thin your collections a bit. You wouldn't have to stop collecting them, just send items from each that you aren't thrilled with off to be adored by someone else.

Sometimes I do but I feel like the fun of some of my collections is that they may never be done. And I can always sell or gift unwanted ones in the future. Who knows what may happen? A lot of collectors cull their collections once they've been collecting for a number of years and I'm still a relatively new collector.

I I figure if I'm keeping within my budget and don't run out of space it doesn't matter. (And if it looks like I'm running out of space it's time to cull!)

However some collections I have a limit to. I'm pretty happy with the amount of ceramic cats I have so I rarely pick them up anymore. MH I've decided I'm mainly sticking to Draculaura unless I love another character. And I'm already downsizing MH.

No, it's not a financial issue. And I've looked over all the stuff and don't want to get rid of any of it...that's the problem! Guess maybe I'll just try to be selective
