G4 seaponies! Kind of.

I know we saw a seapony on the cover, but now we have confirmation that they are, in fact, called seaponies and are cousins to the other pony species.

I hope this book is popular enough to spawn seapony toys, or seaponies in the show!

There are actually merponies and seaponies in the book  if i'm not mistaken.
So i think we still need to see one of those.

I'm not sure why, but I find the drawing of the ponies pretty scary. lol Twilight Sparkle's head reminds me of a Totsy.

Thanks for sharing I continue to hope for G4 sea ponies as well - lets hope Hasbro sees the potential popularity. Although I ll admit I have visions of us simply getting mane 6 turned into sea ponies rather than actual new characters

And the art on this book is a little odd for me too but I do like that that artwork seems to have much more depth than the actual boring clip art/vectors we so often see for G4.

Haha probably. Or we'll get another mane 6 Playful Pony set, this time with attachable mermaid tails. Although, that'd be a lot more innovative than what they have been giving us lately.
