Wow...  I was keeping an eye on that auction, too, because of the accessories included, but it had ended when I went to check on it.  WHAT A DEAL!

Thanks for sharing the buyer's ID...  :(  So sorry that she didn't contact you first and left neutral FB.  At least you have enough sales to bury it!

She is great at communicating once I contacted her about leaving me neutral feedback.

My only concern is that she NEVER gave me the opportunity to correct my error before leaving feedback.

Obviously it not possible to leave anything less than positive feedback for her, so would it be appropriate to leave her feedback:

"Buyer failed to communicate displeasure prior to leaving neutral feedback"

I think it's appropriate!  I would have been crushed to have a neutral left without being given a chance to resolve it.  We're all human and it could have happened to anyone.

On another note I just wanted to say that I have bought from you a few times and have been VERY pleased!

Although your feedback is realistic ebay will remove it at her request. It is considered a false positive.  They do not allow anything that is negative towards the buyer.

I know it stinks but those are rules regarding it.  The seller is and always will be at the buyers mercy.

Am I better off not leaving any?

If I was you I would not leave any but leave a follow-up message in the feedback she left you.  That is allowed.

That way when folks look at the neutral they can see that you were attentive to the situation. And that she did not make any contact to resolve the issue before jumping the gun on leaving you feedback.

Wow!  I bid on that auction and several others that you had at that time.  The bidding was really hot in the last minute or so.  Maybe she didn't look carefully at the picture?  I won the baby firefly from you (she's great by the way) but missed out on the others.  I left you feedback specifically mentioning she was exactly as you described her.  I know it doesn't get rid of the unfair neutral though :(

This is why I stopped selling there. Too many stupid idiots to deal with and not worth it! The Arena is much nicer!

This is honest feedback but ....

like Ponylady said, it can be removed as a false positive if you leave it as a feeback  :(  . Take Ponyladys later advice and add the comment you wanted to make as a follow up to that neutral feedback , and it wont be removed then ;)

I hate this happened to you chip, I had my first negative last year from a member here who not only left negative feedback but started a defamatory thread here (and also did not give me a chance to resolve the issue) and then once she got back her money she promised she would remove the feedback and she didn't (of course) and then wouldn't respond to the thread she left which was locked.  So it can be worse, selling on ebay is like Russian roulette.  Maybe ask her to amend her feedback if you offered a refund... Good luck with the rest of your sales.
