G1 Blossom Purse?

I recently bought a G1 Blossom Purse off of ebay (should be coming in the mail any day now). I tried doing some research before I bought it but couldn't really find anything and the ones I did find (on My Little Wiki) weren't the exact same one as this one, they were bigger.
Even though the pony is a bit discolored and there is some wear and tear on the bag itself there was just something about it that was calling to me, so I went ahead and bought it Plus, who wouldn't want to walk around with an MLP attached to their purse?

I was wondering if anyone has any information about this specific Blossom bag, release year, etc.
I can't wait to get it in the mail!

That's half-a-Blossom bag

There is Blossom version (pink purse with half-a-Blossom pony) and Cotton Candy version (purple purse with half-a-Cotton Candy pony).

I thought they might be International releases but it seems like at least yours is coming from the US

I had a similar one of these with Blossom on but I kept wishing she'd magic into a whole pony 

I'm not sure what happened to it sadly, but I do remember it was a present from my Auntie Jean in 1985 if that helps?

I really like that bag usual going rate for them is $15-20

I remember having the larger version when I was a little girl so as merch I know they were available over here - in fact I think the release was very wide as they turn up for sale from all over.

The smaller bags if in nice condition tend to be in the $12-14 mark so thats a great price you got!
