Be Careful How You display MH Dolls
« on: February 21, 2013, 05:45:17 PM »
From the front view, it's great, right? There are spaces to be filled for new ghouls, everyone has elbow room, and they're all having a good time, right?! (mind you, there is one shelf not pictures where my Oppies hang with Jackson)

I spent the better part of today cleaning and organizing my hobby room. I sit down at the end of a long day in my chaise which is to the left of this display, I look up, and, to my horror....this is what I see...

It was meant to lighten the mood ^_^

A modest ghoul like Katrine really should be more careful...

Loving your puma boy, did you make the hat and shirt? He looks so much cooler like that! I've never liked mine because his torso and upper limbs don't match but adding the little shirt makes it look really cool! If I could
Sew I might maybe possibly totally steal your idea, hee hee

I loled too at the last pic.. Really cute

Hey Fellow new yorker!

Yeah, I knitted the cap for him and modified a ken shirt for him, the mismatched limbs irked me too <3

Oops, kitty cheeks! My cat Nephthys would approve, she thinks nothing of sticking her butt in my face.

Funny pic!

Va va voom!

I put most of my girls in tights or dresses that cover up their naughty bits for this very reason (that and I'm not a fan of such skinny legs). You'd think Mattel would have the decency to give their skirts little straps. Not only would it look like underwear but it would make the skirts more secure as well.

haha OOPS!

I had all my girls in there stands nude for a long time, because i was styling everyone's hair one night and it just took me a long time to get them all dressed again... mom came over and took one look "your dolls are naked!" xD, well they are all dressed now haha

I the the only skirt iv seen like that was the very original clawdeen skirt xD and i thought the same thing, it did look like underwear, LITTLE underwear but it was something at least haha

Poor Catrine! I make my dolls little underpants/shorts to salvage their modesty...Those skirts are hideously too short, IMO.

Lol i'm sure i almost blushed the first time I got an upskirt view of a Draculaura in a store. It actually shocked me a little, why on earth wouldn't you give these short skirt wearing dolls underpants??

Technically they all have underpants on... that is why they "unmentionables" are textured rather than smooth like the doll itself... That being said they could have at least colored said "areas" a different color so that they didnt appear nude...  ^.^
