Now, I will say that I'm disappointed to see PD Operetta re-using a mask. Not that I mind the re-cast (it's black, not white or purple), but because the spider web design in the promo pic is so much cuter!

Agreed.
Why didn't they use the other design? Even her box art has it.
The bag also seems to be different. The promo had it looking like the Phantom's mask. And where are her cool earrings? At least the one on the right ear should be red dice or something similar (I couldn't quite make it out in the promo pic).

This is almost like a bad joke.
Many online stores use the promo pic to sell their dolls. I would be rightfully pissed if I received a doll that lacked at least three accessories I could clearly see in the promo.

Still love her shoes and clothes, but wow, the changes in her accs are a little irritating.

I have to wait and see how the doll looks like, but I think I won't get this character.
There is nothing monstrous anymore about her. Granted, she is a cat, but she looks like a random prom queen with that glittery pink outfit. Did she raid Barbie's closet?
I really wanted to like her since she'll be released on my b-day, but that isn't a monster, that's a neko-girl in Barbie clothes

PS: Who else gets a Ganguro vibe from her? Lol.

I think I am totally in love with Catt Noir. I love all these werecats so much. Remind me of the Catwalk Kitties I so dearly love.

But black cats are superstitiously bad luck hence fitting a lil' bit into the whole Monster thing. But yeah.....seems like there are a lot of werecats. Not that I'm complaining. They are my favorite kind of monster.

Yep! That's why she'll be released on friday the 13th, the bad luck day ^^
I think I'm just let down by her outfit, since I'm into the more outlandish fashions of the MHs and that dress just looks too Barbie to me. I was expecting her to be dressed a bit like a witch or maybe even in sandy yellows and oranges (because I seriously expected her to be inspired by Le Chat Noir, d'oh).

I can't shake off the thought that she looks like a Ganguro. The hair, the white make-up... maybe if her doll ends up looking cute I will get her and redress her in neon colors to fit the stereotype

Heh. Pop her into PD Lagoona's outfit to complete the Ganguro look. Or am I just being mean to Lagoona? I really dislike her PD outfit so very very much!

OMG OMG OMG! I will be so beyond the point of thrilled if that is the new cat! Black and pink?! Ummm YES!
And PD wave 2? Definately getting Frankie and Lagoona.. not sure about Operetta. I've been really on the fence lately about Operettas releases so I will probably just wait until she's in stores.

Aw I was hoping Catty Noir would be in Noir style not a tutu. She even could have been in black and white style with the trench coat and fedora. Oh well. More kitties for everyone else.

The GNO are cute. I think I will try to snag their outfits. The new Picture Day wave is adorable. Frankie and Lagoona look great and Ieven like Operetta's dress.

Oh my gosh, she's a perfect counterpart to Catrine. Yin and Yang, if you will. I wouldn't mind if she ended up looking like this, even if she is cramping Draculaura's style.

I think I could see her as ganguro more if she had white lips and... orange eyes or something. Their orangeness plays a big factor in it for me.
