How do you store you BB cards? Advice & pics appreciated! :)
« on: February 21, 2013, 03:06:45 PM »
Hello pony people,

Just a quick question, how do you store your BB pony collectors cards?
Since I'm building up quite a few and not sure how to protect them and keep them together!

Any ideas? Pictures are most welcome! :)

Thanks to all that reply! :)

I use a little blue card binder, the sort used for storing Pokémon cards or MTG. I borrowed it from my SO; I'll get pics once I can find my camera's SD card...

EDIT: I guess I don't need to, TheLoveForPonies and I seem to have the same one. :P

I have mine in a binder :)
You can buy the card sheets at Walmart, Target, etc.

I stash all mine in the main 6 Enterplay card tin. A friend of mine collects cards, so she kept the cards and I got a free tin. :D Card binders are definitely a good idea though.

I also bought some of those card sheets to put in a binder... But I haven't found a pony binder yet, so my BB cards are sitting in a drawer somewhere instead.

If you don't have a Target or Walmart, I think pretty much any other store that sells cards would have them. Comic book stores probably would... If nothing else, check Amazon! I know there are card sleeves on there. :)

I have mine in card sheets in a binder, along with my Grand Champion cards and other misc. pony/horse cards.

I do have them sorted out so that when I get new BBs, I can put the cards in the right order...I'm a bit ocd about them being numerically correct, lol!

I second the tins! I also collect Bella Sara and sometimes they put out these collector's tins with samples from various series. I have a couple of them and store things like cards, Monster High journals, stickers that come with toys, tags that fall off, etc. Simple pretty tins that you can get from anywhere work very well, especially when you store other things in them too! :D

I've seen these on etsy and always wondered how people do it! Is there a special tool?

As for me, right now I just have them in a pile with my Enterplay trading cards and held together with a rubber band. For a while I wanted to get this binder to display them all in but it's pretty overpriced. :P So I'll just pick up a regular ol' binder and some card sheets next chance I get.

WH Smiths :) Or any large stationary/paper product shop will usually carry them.

You can even get them on line at WH Smiths- they are priced really well at the moment. http://www.whsmith.co.uk/Products/WHSmith-Collecting-System-Trading-Cards-Refill-CCR12+Photo-Albums--Frames+00672245

This is how I keep mine - I just have a jazzy binder I picked up Paperchase to hold the sheets.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

Since they're really thin, I manage to fit all of mine into a single blind bag... well... bag.

I would love it if they released more pony binders! I hope so see some mlp binders for back to school if not sooner.:-)

I currently have all my cards stored in the bags they came in, all in an organized pile in a shoe size box. (I keep both package and card so I'm having a hard time deciding what to do with them lol.
