Seattle Mini Meet

Hey guys, I posted this a while back, so I'm giving it a bump and update my original message.

I'm from Singapore and am visiting friends. I'm looking to do something very pony here in Seattle. I'm currently residing in Redmond, just behind the Animal Hospital. Just interested in asking people living in and around WA to come meet up and have a good time.

A bit about myself - I am largely a G1 lover, but I collect ALL generations. I collect G4s but more as good'O'ponies and not in the Brony fashion where everything has to be defined by the show. My greatest complaint about the G4s is they have only symbols on one side. I like doing casual customs, especially rehairs. I also do like the occasional sell and trade.

So far, I have Lady Moondancer & Galactica on my list, but from what I know Galactica isn't available until April, so I am fishing for dates here. Also, as for venue, it'll be great if we can meet somewhere indoor, since it seems to rain quite  a fair bit here, not to mention.... COLD! lol

Personally I vote to meet in Belleveu, because the place looks newer and nicer, and it's got a huge TRU close by. lol Kirkland is also wonderful by the Marina with a view of Lake Washington. Lmk!

I'm in Seattle-  don't know of any official pony "goings ons" during that time period- if you stayed just a couple of weeks longer you could always go to Everfree? http://www.everfreenw.com/

I know at least one (probably more) member will have a table there- and it sounds like there will be pony loot galore.


I don't suppose you have the Rarity/Celestia FS mix-up pony, or the clear ponies-  do you?  I would definitely love those...

I can actually stay for Everfree! Well I have a 6 months visa, just that I intend to cross over to Canada a bit, but I guess that can be arranged! Sounds purdy exciting already!

Currently, our stores are carrying the white Celestia with Pinkie and Luna with Rarity, the bath accessories set with Fluttershy and one other pony, and the Mane 6 singles with tinsels in the hair, but they're not clear like I'd like them to. Quite uninteresting huh?

We never got the Blind Bags here, so I'm keen on picking up one or two while I'm in the USA.

Would you like to meet up somewhere in March? I'll need to figure out how and where to travel first though, since I have no idea how far Redmond is from Seattle's city centre. Is a day trip even possible?  I can't drive, but I guess I can get my friend to drop me off at a train station or something.

Redmond is about fifteen miles from Seattle and there are buses that run between the two!  About a 40 minute ride.  I know lots of people who live in Redmond and commute to Seattle for work every day!

Also there's a downtown Seattle Target store that had blind bags last time I was there, and also will have any Target exclusives that might be out when you come (hopefully).

Sounds like you have much the same stuff we do, cept the blind bags.  For sure Target downtown USUALLY has some (although they looked pretty picked over the other day)

We should try and plan a pony-meet down town, that would be fun

I'm not familiar with any meet ups but I'd be willing to come hang out with the rest of you for a day. Would be a good way to get out of the house and have some fun!
