What are your favorite fantasy movies/tv shows?

Just wondering, what are everyone's favorite fantasy movies and tv shows?  I really wish more fantasy stuff was produced.

I'm not sure about TV shows, my favorite shows tend to be either comedies or sci fi.

My favorite fantasy movie is Willow. Always has been. I'm also fond of Labyrinth and The Neverending Story

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (both the recent-ish one and the BBC tv film)

There are probably a heck of a lot more! I guess it all depends on your own definitions of fantasy. I get all flustered whenever I try to pin down a genre (and some people get very protective of their genres, too...) If you extend it to supernatural fantasy, etc. then I guess I'd include Buffy and Charmed. Maybe Supernatural but maybe that's more supernatural horror...see what I mean? I once tried to organise my DVD collection by genre and nearly lost it because there were so many crossovers and unclear areas for me.

Oh, man... have to second this - I LOVE this movie. Madmartigan has the best one liners 

A couple of others have already been mentioned, like Legend, Game of Thrones...

I've always enjoyed the cheesiness of Ladyhawke - that's another old fav of mine. And Flight of Dragons, Wizards (Bakshi) and as a kid, Robin of Sherwood was my fav tv programme

TV, not sure. I'd say Friendship is Magic is the closest 

Movies, I count Star Wars as fantasy, so it's way up there (for straight science-fiction there's Star Trek, Dr. Who and the like). The NeverEnding Story is wonderful.

Game of thrones is my current favorite.  I've read all the books, twice. The books ruined season 2 for me but it's still an amazingly good show!  I just have to remember that the show is based on the books not a perfect recreation.
