Since there's been a bit of interest expressed in using the doll area of the classifieds, I encourage those who qualify and have a desire to set up ads to join the classifieds member group. (You do so by going to your profile and looking at the area for Group "Membership.")

The qualifications are having 10 positive feedback for either selling or trading items (i.e., shipping tangible goods to others), been a member for at least 4 months, and be over 16 years of age.

It doesn't just have to be dolls, but accessories, clothes and the like. Even homemade goodies if you have such to sell. Thanks for everyone's attention.

We have the classifieds function (linked above) that the doll loving types can use too. I know you probably stick to the sales forum, but would any of you have interest in using the classifieds also? It's kind of like an eBay but without the stupidity or the icky fees.

I'm gathering opinions as to whether I need to keep the doll category or not. Thanks for your time.

I don't sell much, but I kept looking over there waiting for people to put stuff in it, and... it never happened. Even before the MH forum split from the Dollhouse!

Just a thought ( so please don't hurt me lol  ) Maybe people aren't using as much because its not talked about as much, this is the first I am hearing about it, then again I usually stick to the sales trades and don't think to look for another area that sells dolls.Maying talking about it or advertising it more would make people take more notice and go from there, or has that already been done? Just throwing out  some thoughts.

i have a few custom made clothes and extra dolls i was hoping to put up there by the end of the month.
(finishing a few and deciding on factory made clothes)
so yeah i want to use it and i look there  often for things to buy. no go so far.

This is me too!  I see it up there now that you've pointed it out but I've never noticed it before.

I used the classifieds back when I was collecting ponies, and while I don't sell much, I'd love to be able to browse for dolls there. The layout is a lot easier to utilize for that type of thing, as opposed to the sales thread.

Thiiiiiiis! Use the Classifieds! I check there all the time, but it's rare to see new stuff. It's so much easier for buyers to use the Classifieds than to sift through sales threads.

I think it's not as well known that we have a special place for dolls within the classifieds - Maybe a Sticky advertising it would help?

I'm new, but I didn't even know that was there! It would be amazing if people started using it, I'm just getting into collecting and the sales thread can be a bit too muddled. I hope enough people pipe up about keeping it and are actually motivated to use it.
