Congrats, do they come with any documentation?

I think documentation is rare at best for "prototypes" (Which people generally use to describe EPs, first shots, marketing samples, etc) Companies do NOT generally want these items to leave the company- they want them destroyed.  So obtaining "certification" on an actual product is rare. 

Luckily for those of us who collect such rubbish, stuff leaks out all the time via rubbish bins, marketing samples that go home with employees, samples retained by designers/sample makers.   

Of course Funko is an exception (they always sell their prototypes- at Comic Con or through Gemini collectibles or some of their other distributors).  I love their prototypes- but they don't provide documentation.

I think just about the only people willing to provide certification or documentation are artists/designers with regard to their illustrative samples.  (IE artwork showing a design for a toy).  Companies must not be so tense about artwork, since that sort of stuff comes up way more regularly on ebay and through distributors of such things.
