Hair Inspiration!

I have a couple of days off work so I'm cleaning up as many ponies as I can cram in.  My favorite part is doing their hair, but I'm afraid I'm not very creative!

Have some photos of great hair-do's?  Post them for inspiration please!!!

I am so terrible as well - I stick to "original" style lol - so either a soft curl or straight and sleek.

Ooh, I have a few ponies with different hairstyles... Maybe not very original, but I'd like to think so! I like to part the hair at different spots and wrap it around the neck or body so that the pony has her mane going both ways. The lighting in my room isn't great and my camera just wouldn't focus, but here are some pics! (All of these ponies were in a box for a couple hours yesterday while I swapped shelves, so their hair is a bit undone, but oh well.)

The majority of Sweet Tooth's mane is wrapped normally around her neck. A handful of plugs at the bottom were wrapped the other way, then pulled back so the hair lies against her side.

Sherbert's hair was curled normally, but as she's missing a few plugs of hair, it made her look kind of bald. So, after curling her mane around the left side of her neck, I pulled the hair over to lie against the right side of her body.

Primrose was done in the same method as Sweet Tooth. I think I was originally trying to give her a Fluttershy hairdo.

I separated the pink in Coconut Creme's hair and curled it around her belly, and the rest was curled around her neck(?) on the other side. I think it would be better if I had some little curlers.

This is a hairstyle I've been using for G4s; I separate the hair (usually by colours) and curl the front strand one way around the neck and the rest of the mane the other way. It makes for some big bouncy curls on both sides of the pony.

Out of curiosity, was she from a Chinese seller? For whatever reason, ponies that I buy from China rather than in the store always come with their mane put up in one big perfect curl, I just love it. It makes for a really easy updo, and less box-hair for me to deal with.

Here's my favourite styling job, Twinkleshine with an old Hollywood inspired updo. It was a pain to do, but looks way better than some of my hair styling attempts.

Pinkie Pie curls

I have so much fun doing this kinda style. I just stick it up in some makeshift pony curlers, and then pull the curls apart with the end of a hairpin. xD
I usually leave like half of the front curl as is though, for a curly fringe kinda thing.

Tipped boiling water over to straighten it out/flatten it, and tied with an elastic. Twilights tail was just wrapped around her leg and left to dry.

Plumsweet's hair was put in a curler for the front bit, thatched down the back and wrapped around her front legs. I really like how it turned out, but some of the curl has loosened since. ; _ ;
Oh, you can't really tell much but I pulled the last few plugs of her hair over to the fringe so she could have all three colours in that curl. xD
