I have a handful of Dollcenas that I snapped up right about the time the line was going out of production. I was really lucky, in that I was able to get many of them for a steal when stores started liquidating their stock. They're very similar to Little Pullips and Petite Blythes, with the backstory that they're meant to be little girls dressed in tribute as their favorite Disney characters. They're about 11cm and have sleep eyes that close when they lie down.

Unfortunately, they weren't very popular for their time and were cancelled abruptly with their homepage left in limbo. It was still up for viewing until very recently, but the way it was set up lead me to believe there were more planned at one point. It's a shame they were discontinued, I think they're really charming and had a lot of potential. I would have loved to see what other characters they may have used had they made more.

I forget how many individual dolls were made exactly, but I believe it was somewhere around 25-30, with "Lovely Flowers for Your Lei" (Lilo and Stich) being the last to be released. I think the most difficult ones to track down in the current market would probably be Ariel (Sea Shell Venus), Belle (Love Magic Rose), and Alice (Milky Girl), though they're all becoming more uncommon as time goes on.

Here's some old photos of mine, someday I'll have to take some better ones.  ^.^ My favorite is Ariel. I was going to take her with me to Disney World last year for some photos, but I totally forgot to pack her before leaving for the airport.
