Rosalie - PI custom contest entry

SO! There was a custom pony contest held over on PI - theme was rainbows, and Rosalie is my entry

I had a pretty tight deadline, and for the past 3 or 4 weeks, I've been working on this piece every spare moment I had (and how glad am I that I was on holidays from school, which meant plenty of free time!).
Tail was sculpted and sanded like crazy till it was nice and smooth.
She was airbrushed white, then in a rainbow of colours, then I applied the lace (I chose one with some gorgeous flower patterns, which I really like) and airbrushed over it in a nice deep black.
Her eyes were painted with a whole spectrum of colour to make them pop
Her hair... is an epic 35 colours, hand blended with extra plug holes added, then twisted and pinned in place All Dollyhair:
Fairy's Breath, Pussycat, Tea Rose, Heartthrob, watermelon martini, Pomme D'Amour, Candy Apple, Cherry Pie, Vampire Kiss, Volcano, Satsuma, Marmalade, Passion Fruit, Mango Tango, Hypnotic, Energetic, Butterfly, Lemon Drop, Lemonade, Spring Meadow, Key Lime, Sea Nymph, Envy, Poison Ivy, After Midnight, Bluebell, Bobby Blue, Water Nixie, Arctic Frost, Amethyst, Sugarplum, Sour Grapes, Ultraviolet, Deadly Nightshade.
She was sealed with Dullcote, Triple thick on the eyes.

Thanks BC - I started working on her about an hour after I read the announcement I've been in a bit of a rainbowy mood lately (I lovingly blame AusMLP and her parasol army!), so I was actually excited to be able to use an idea thats been brewing for the last few months, which certainly made my design process easier   I must confess, I can't WAIT to see what your entry looks like!!
