atc question

got a question..... (first off this may be the wrong place to post this, i'm not sure) but are there ever any ATC contests on the arena? I've done 1 (and in the middle of another) on the trading post, and I absolutely love them. I was wondering if anyone knew if they ever happen on here. I'd love to do some, I love drawing ponies for others and love getting cards, so if anyone knows please let me know!

I think there have been ATC swaps before.. but I've only heard about them since I'm new-ish.. so maybe I'm wrong?

There's been several here, just not recently. You could always host one yourself if you wanted.

yeah we do atc swaps here, i hosted the last few but im taking a break for a bit, too much on my plate that i felt i was stretched a bit thin. but yeah anyone can host them so just keep an eye on the pony art forum for some to crop up =]

I don't think there are any hard and fast rules on this kind of swap, actually. I imagine anyone with some decent feedback could probably host one since ATCs are rather uncomplicated and inexpensive.

Well I was thinking of one for the month of February in which you could use Valentines as a theme for the month if you wanted. Otherwise, you're right about three days being too late.

just realized I said contest...... ha! I meant swap.... gah!! *smacks own head* i'm such a goob! yeah I'd love to do one but I have no idea how you would "host" one or how to get it started....

And ATC contest could be fun too though lol.    There are ATC swaps about once a month, so just keep your eyes open.  You might also be able to find someone who wants to do a private swap too.
