Princess Twilight Sparkle??????? ..wow, now I'm kind of glad I have stopped watching the show a while ago. xD;

And nah, I don't think it necessarily means more variety, sadly. :c
I'm in the commercial/marketing industry and that's just the language used.. make it sound HUGE and WONDERFUL! Then release 10 characters. LOL.

Here's hoping! I know we have the Toys R Us set to look forward to at least, and that should bring in some new characters.

I hope the new Crystal Empire stuff includes the transparent glitter brushables, too! It'd be nice if there were more than just the mane six of those as well, but I'm not holding out for either.

I want some more variety in my collection. I only have 18 more playful ponies and 6 more fashion styles to collect before I am caught up, I want some new ponies to collect as well! not just Princess Twi

They keyword variety makes me have at least some hope. There are lots of pretty background character ponies they could make. I really wanna get back into G4. I miss hunting for new ponies on the store racks.

I dunno.  I remain cautiously optimistic but at the same time, I get the feeling that "variety" to Hasbro means lots and lots of versions of the Mane 6. . .  And, in this case, Twilight Sparkle.
