best way to make garboyle/vamp boy wig not look like butt?

I just got them today and while I have very few issues with the set in general that wig is just, plain, terrible.  It sits like the cheap wig it is.

It's awful, but it does look a bit better if you wash it.

First of all make the wig cap less visible by trimming the edge off. Then wash out the gel.Then while still wet, style it a little.h

Thanks.  Washing and trimming the visible parts really helped.  I wonder if they're all as wonkily uneven as mine was- one side has a nice clean taper that covers the ear, the other side was like -schnip- big old blunt non-ear covering bit.  I pulled forward some hair from the back and did a little bit of trimming on the other side to kind of hide it a bit.  At least the vamp boy looks like less of a d-bag now that he's got hair.

I hate the boy wigs so much. I will have to try to tip above but otherwise I've been thinking of getting another wig from another cam or liv wig and try cutting it that way

my solution was to buy a new wig. or put him in a RM helmet....then he looks like a bald biker - LOL

I so agree with you! I've been wondering the same thing. I might wash it too. Mine looks like the part is off too far to one side and looks like wig that's on backwards it's awful. Can you post a pic to

I just finished making a boy wig, I'll post some pictures tomorrow.  The process is rather easy, but it is time consuming.

i've just rehaired mine. hard to style though. guessing it would be easier to rehair the wig cap. then you can use the needle method really easy.

I started buying extra MH wigs in the Sales and Trades forum.

I cut the Skeleton CAM wig down for my Puma.  He looks SO great, blue hair on blue skin on blue markings!  I love monochromatic color schemes<3

I plan to re-root other wig caps for dolls that still need hair.

I washed and cut the Vampire wig, too.  Never thought to trim the wig cap   I might have to take another look at the boy:)  My Gargoyle will forever be bald.  I want a skull cap for him, but I can't find the "right" one
