So the pets' ears ARE interchangeable. Wasn't sure.
The clothing looks a bit different, I wonder which set of photos is more current.
That first link has a photo of Pinkie's ear being changed which makes it look like a small Blythe scalp. Customing prospects look good.
Paris Pinkie's hair isn't as curly.

Woot! I'll be buying at least one to customize. Their eyes appear to be inset to begin with so they should be really easy to customize after I pop those suckers out. Really would love to re-body on a hujoo anthro too, she has such a lovely face mold, i bet with a new fully jointed body, new eyes, and a new faceup she could really be a stunner.

You're right, I was being dumb and thinking of the European prices as the US ones.  The basic dolls will probably be around $20 here, looking at the prices you listed.  Definitely not as ridiculous!

I though she was supposed to be an English Toy Spaniel? (The breed that they later on mixed with English Setter to "create" (in lack of better words) Cavalier King charles. I believe I read "English toy spaniel" in the product description. Nonetheless, the more breeds they resemble, the more girls will want one that looks just like their dog

Can't wait for customizing to begin! *rubs hands together* I also have some ideas for things I'd like to do with her.
You'll have to figure out a way to connect the BJD body to the head. Do you have a Freya or Freyr? The first Freyas had a bit that kept the elastics tight and from slipping back in to the body and the head closed around the neck. Dunno about the nee Freyas but Freyr's elastic hook around pegs in his head to keep them up. Might take a bit of fiddling. Probably have to enlarge the neck hole, since her default body's neck looks a bit smaller. If the head turns out to be vinyl, maybe you could create a piece to go on top of the neck that holds the elastics but is shaped like a ball that the head could pop on to?

The prices for American toys in Europe can be crazy sometimes, as the European members can probably tell you. At the current rates, anyone buying from Toys.ie will end up paying over a 3rd more than in the US :<

Hmm. There is certainly more of a resemblance. I Googled both, with "Pinkie Cooper", some articles say "toy" and some say "cocker". The Wikipedia entry says the DOLL is an English Toy Spaniel and the DOG she's based on is an English Cocker Spaniel. I wonder if that's it or if someone got it wrong along the way? Maybe somebody who is only familiar with the Cocker Spaniel?

   Oh, so they have jointed elbows. Well at least it's a tiny bit better than Novi Stars (and I bet they can sit too).

They do look easy to customize!  (I'm itching to wipe off the heart marks from between their eyes, it makes their design too busy for my taste.)
