I work full-time as a receptionist at a dental office and then part-time at the mall selling fancier lotions and potions.  I might be adding school to that this coming summer.

"Sir, that's a carousel."
"I must have it!"

I've been unemployed since September (as has my bf) and am desperately looking now. It isn't easy and I feel stressed out whenever I hear that yet another big company is laying off workers...

Anyone in Los Angeles know of any good desk jobs I could look into?

I'm a stay-at-home mum right now but in my past life I was a chef. When i go back to work it will be strange looking for a 9-5 job cos I'm used to such silly hospitality hours (but I won't miss 16 hour shifts!!!!!!!!!!)

Me too! (Well, it was two past lives ago that I was a pastry cook. Now I'm a "photojournalist"). Kitchen life and mommy duty can be a difficult combo! I'm 33 and still trying to decide what I'm going to be when I grow up...I don't think I've had a 9-5 job since summers in high school.
